Sublimation

How can you put breathtaking photographs onto garments with excellent detail and gorgeous color?  It’s easy if you do it with custom dye sublimation!  Seriously, dye sublimation printing has revolutionized the print world because it can be quickly and easily applied, but it will last as long as the garment will!  Unlike many other types of custom printing, sublimation printing doesn’t care about how much fine detail you want to capture because it can handle it all.

Dye Sub printing is partially digital because the first step is to print out the artwork from a sublimation printer.  Since that part is handled by computer, you know that every detail will be exactly reproduced as you see it on screen!  The printer is no ordinary printer because it contains special heat reactive dyes that will convert from a solid into a gas when heated and it applies them to a heat transfer paper.  To get the print onto the garment all you need to do is line up the transfer sheet and heat press the design.  The heat activates the dyes and the pressure forces the now gaseous dye to permanently bind with the fabric below.
