Sublimated Prints

What’s the fuss about sublimated prints?  Well, have you seen them?  Chances are that you have, even if you didn’t know that’s what you were looking at!  Sublimation prints let you explore your creativity in ways that will blow your mind.  Do you like printing with as many colors as you can?  Do you like ultra-crisp images?  You can have all of that and more with custom dye sublimated prints!

Now why is it that you can do much with dye sublimation?  A lot of it has to do with the fact that it is actually a type of digital printing that will later be transferred to the garment.  Since a computer handles the reproduction of the image, the level of detail and precision is simply unparalleled.  A special sublimation printer uses heat reactive dyes to administer the full design to a heat transfer sheet.  The dyes are formulated to convert from a solid into a gas when heated and this is how the print gets from the sheet to the garment.  Once the artwork is on the transfer sheet you just need to heat press the sheet to the blank garment to activate the dyes.
